Photos: Ronda Rousey Appears In Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is featured as one of the models in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, which hits newsstands on Monday.

Rousey returns to the Octagon to defend her title against undefeated number one contender Cat Zingano in the main event of the next UFC pay-per-view, UFC 184, which takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The official Sports Illustrated website has released the following video of Rousey’s S.I. shoot:

“The media directed at men with women is what women pay attention to the most,” said Rousey. “When it came to what standard I gave myself growing up and what I thought that I should look like, I was looking at the women that I could see the men I wanted found attractive. I thought if this is what the guys I like, then I should look like that. The ‘Sports Illustrated’ Swimsuit Issue wasn’t like ‘Playboy’ or all those others. It wasn’t so fake and plastic.”
