Renzo Gracie Won't Fight At UFC: Rio, Wants To See Royce Fight

0

With the UFC returning to Brazil for the first time since 1998 in August, many fans are clamoring to see at least one of the legendary Gracie family fighters on the card.

Renzo Gracie has taken his name off the list of possible fighters as he spoke this week about the UFC making a return to his home country and his desire to see one of his family members on the card, Royce in particular:

“In reality, I can't. I have no time now. I was planning to, I began the training, but my life is so crazy I couldn't dedicate 100 percent to that. I hope Royce fights. To have a Gracie fight there would be great — great for the fans, to have someone from my family fighting. I hoped to do it but I don't have the time to concentrate to it.”
