(LOS ANGELES) June 21, 2007 — ProElite, Inc. [PELE.PK], a leader in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) that produces world-class, professional MMA events through its EliteXC division and an MMA social community through ProElite.com, today announced the closing of a sponsorship deal with Rockstar energy drink through EliteXC live events. Rockstar’s branding with EliteXC will debut during the 14-match mega fight card taking place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. on Friday, June 22, and will feature marquee MMA fighters Frank Shamrock (frankshamrock.proelite.com) and Phil Baroni (philbaroni.proelite.com) in the main event with up to five other matches airing live on SHOWTIME PPV (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT). As many as five undercard bouts will be streamed live at ProElite.com starting at 7:30 pm ET/4:30 pm PT.
The sponsorship deal will encompass Rockstar branding throughout events, including corporate identity on the mat, pay-per-view broadcast exposure, sponsorship of the undercard live stream, and fight collateral.
