Nova Uniao prospect Marlon Sandro (17-1) propelled himself one step closer to full blown stardom Sunday when he destroyed Masanori Kanehara (16-8-5) to earn the featherweight championship in the main event of Sengoku Raiden Championships 13. Kanehara never even had a chance to mount any form of effective offense as Sandro left him lying unconcious in just 38 seconds. Keita Nakamura and Maximo Blanco also walked away victorious.
