Shogun Rua To Require Surgery For Broken Nose

After getting his nose broken by Dan Henderson in their UFC Fight Night 38 main event bout this past weekend, it appears Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will require surgery to his the mess.

His manager Ed Alonso confirmed the surgery with FOX Sports.

“His only injury is a broken nose, nothing too serious,” Alonso said. “Other than that, all fine.”

Rua will visit with a doctor today. He was handed a 180-day medical suspension for the injury following the bout.
