Stipe Miocic KOs Fabricio Werdum To Become New UFC Heavyweight Champion


At UFC 198 on Saturday evening, Stipe Miocic shocked the world.

Stipe Miocic knocked out Fabricio Werdum to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion in the UFC 198 pay-per-view main event before a jam-packed crowd in Curitiba, Brazil.

Miocic blasted Werdum as the now former UFC Heavyweight Champion was coming in, dropping him on his face and pounding him out for a stoppage victory at the 2:47 mark of the very first round.

With the win, Cleveland, Ohio’s own Stipe Miocic becomes the new UFC Heavyweight Champion.
