Swick-Leben II Likely, Says UFC President Dana White

0

It was apparently mentioned during a UFC Fight Club members “Q&A” session with UFC president Dana White after yesterday's “Stacked” weigh-ins that fellow Ultimate Fighter 1 veterans Chris Leben and Mike Swick may collide in a highly anticipated rematch at an upcoming UFC.

The fellas over at UFCJunkie.com are reporting that the bout would take place at the next UFC Fight Night special on Spike TV, which is set for August or September.

The two first fought back in the old World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) show in January of 2004 where Leben got the victory – and gave Swick his first professional loss via stoppage from strikes. The two would reference the bout repeatedly on TUF's season number one and fans have been clammoring for the bout since the conclusion of the show. It looks like the fight might finally happen.
