According to a report on Sherdog.com, The “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz no-showed the Affliction press conference yesterday too announce Affliction 2: Day of Reckoning.
It was expected that Ortiz would be on hand to announce his debut with the upstart organization but when the conference started Ortiz was no where to be found. A report on SI.com earlier this week stated that Tito had signed with Affliction and it would be one of the biggest contracts ever for an MMA fighter.
Michael Cohen offered the following statement to Sherdog regarding Ortiz, “Don Trump Jr., myself and Tito engaged in a conversation and there is nothing substantive that was discussed other than the fact we are interested in sitting down with him, which we're planning on doing in the very near future.”
It remains to be seen what will go on with Ortiz but when it comes to the former UFC Lightheavy weight Champion, the sky tends to be the limit.
