UFC 162 Fighter Salaries, Payroll of $1,613,000

MMANews.com has obtained a copy of the fighter salaries issued this weekend for UFC 162 which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

The biggest earner of the evening was former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva who pick up a $600,000 pay out as opposed to his opponent and new Champion Chris Weidman who picked up $48,000.

It Should be noted that the salaries below do not reflect any post fight bonus awards or back room bonuses that may have been awarded:

    Depending on how many PPV buys they did for this Silva fight, UFC easily made at least 20x that. Possibly even more.

    i cant believe leban was paid more to show up than Weidman got for showing up and winning combined, who the hell decides who makes what? thats just fucked up!

    the “only” thing I’ve never agreed with UFC about ! ! it is a DAMN shame what these world class athletes get paid to put on fantastic display of courage, discipline and skill, and sooo much better than the corrupted sport of boxing
