At the UFC 191: Johnson vs. Dodson 2 pay-per-view event on Saturday night in Las Vegas, rising UFC women’s strawweight contender Paige VanZant continued her winning ways by defeating opponent Alex Chambers inside the distance.

Paige “12 Gauge” VanZant (6-1, 3-0 UFC) showed that she is the real deal by forcing Chambers, a former veteran of The Ultimate Fighter, to submit to an armbar at just 61 seconds of the third round of a fight that saw VanZant dominate the action from the opening bell to the finishing sequence.

With the victory at UFC 191, VanZant, who went into the show ranked the number seven UFC women’s strawweight contender, inches one step closer to breaking into the top five of the UFC’s newest weight class.
