UFC 72 No Longer Free On Spike TV, Back To PPV

0

According to UFC.com's event page for UFC 72 “Victory”, you can kiss the free showing on Spike TV goodbye.

The “event type” was originally listed as Spike TV, which is where commercials and other advertisements had stated the show would air. However, it appears that the show is no longer going to air on Spike for free, but PPV instead.

Could this have anything to do with UFC.com also announcing today that top contender Yushin Okami is the official replacement for Martin Kampmann in the main event against former Middleweight champion Rich Franklin?
