UFC Fight Night 90 Results — Alvarez TKOs RDA To Claim UFC Lightweight Title

On Thursday, UFC officially kicked off International Fight Week with the first of three consecutive events, as UFC Fight Night 90 took place live from Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the main event of the evening, former Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez scored a first-round TKO of Rafael dos Anjos to become the new UFC Lightweight Champion.

The co-main event of the evening saw Derrick Lewis edge out longtime UFC veteran Roy “Big Country” Nelson via split decision victory after three rounds of action.
