UFC Signs Zak Ottow To Replace Bobby Green, Fight Josh Burkman

Thirteen-win veteran Zak Ottow will get his chance to compete inside the Octagon, as MMAjunkie is reporting he has signed to fight Josh Burkman at UFC Fight Night 96.

The event takes place October 1 from Portland’s Moda Center.

Ottow (13-3) replaces Bobby Green, who bowed out of the fight with personal issues. Ottow, who has fought for Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Legacy FC in the past, has won four in a row and owns 12 finishes to his credit.

Burkman (28-13) is 6-8 over multiple stints with the promotion and is just 1-3 over his last four.

UFC Fight Night 96 features John Lineker vs. John Dodson and Will Brooks vs. Alex Oliveira.
