Common Questions

UFC White House FAQ

Everything you need to know about the historic UFC event at the White House.

UFC White House is scheduled for June 14, 2026. The date coincides with President Trump's 80th birthday. The event was originally discussed as a July 4th celebration for America's 250th anniversary but was confirmed for June 14 [1][2].

The main event takes place on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. An overflow watch party for up to 85,000 fans will be held at The Ellipse, a park just south of the White House fence [2][3].

UFC White House will stream exclusively on Paramount+ as part of UFC's $7.7 billion deal with Paramount. This is NOT a pay-per-view event — it is included with a standard Paramount+ subscription. CBS may simulcast prelims [1].

South Lawn seats (5,000 capacity) will NOT be sold — they are comped exclusively to military members. Ticketing information for The Ellipse overflow area (85,000 capacity) has not been officially released yet [1].

As of February 2026, no official matchups have been announced. Matchmaking is underway with Dana White expecting fights to be 'dialed in' imminently. The card will feature approximately 6-7 fights. Fighters who have expressed interest include Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, and Max Holloway [5][7].

McGregor has expressed strong interest, specifically mentioning a matchup with Michael Chandler. However, he is not eligible to compete until after March 20, 2026 (completing an 18-month CSAD suspension for missing three drug tests in 2024). Dana White has been non-committal despite McGregor's lobbying [4][7].

Jon Jones, who retired from MMA earlier in 2025, has expressed interest in making a comeback for this card. However, recent video footage showed 'severe arthritis' in his left hip, and Dana White expressed trust concerns due to Jones's past legal issues and failed drug tests [7][8].

This will be the most expensive event in UFC history, far exceeding the $20 million spent on UFC 306 at the Las Vegas Sphere. Dana White described the Sphere costs as 'spare change' compared to this production. $700,000 alone is budgeted to replace the South Lawn grass. The UFC is covering all costs without taxpayer funds [6].

Fighters will walk out from the Oval Office to the Octagon on the South Lawn. They may also warm up inside the White House before their bouts. Official weigh-ins are scheduled at the Lincoln Memorial [4][1].

The District of Columbia Combat Sports Commission will sanction the event — the same body that oversaw UFC events at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. in 2011 and 2019 [9].

The event was originally pitched as a July 4th, 2026 celebration for America's 250th birthday. It was later confirmed for June 14, 2026, which is President Trump's 80th birthday. The event remains part of the broader America250 celebrations [1][10].

Ari Emanuel (TKO Group CEO) confirmed the card will feature approximately 6-7 fights [5]. This is significantly smaller than typical UFC numbered events (usually 13 fights), but Dana White has promised 'the greatest fight card ever assembled' with all-star level matchups [4].
