UFC Middleweight Champion telling intheguard.tv that he plans on retiring sometime next year. If this does in fact happen it would be a truly hurt the UFC and the sport as a whole. Silva has became one of the best fighters in the world and is undoubtedly the best middleweight the sport has ever seen.

Should be interesting to hear what Dana White's thoughts on on this.
