CSAC GRANTS SECOND CONTINUANCE FOR SHERK AT HEARING TODAY

LAS VEGAS, NV October 31, 2007 â€" At a hearing in Los Angeles today, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) granted a second continuance for UFC Lightweight Champion Sean Sherk’s appeal of his positive test for the banned substance “Nandrolone” after his July 7th win over Hermes Franca at UFC 73 in Sacramento.

The continuance will allow the CSAC to review documents submitted by Sherk’s attorney. It is expected that Sherk’s continued appeal will take place in the next meeting Nov. 13, 2007.
