At the pre fight press conference this week for UFC 91, UFC President Dana White let the cat out of the bag that the winner of the Kenny Florian and Joe Stevenson bout at 91 will get a show at BJ Penn for the lightweight title after Penn fights Georges St. Pierre for the Welterweight title.
"This fight is going to be amazing, and the winner of this fight will face B.J. Penn for the lightweight title after B.J. fights Georges St. Pierre,"
That's still going to be a long wait for a shot at the title if you are Florian or Stevenson and who's to say that Penn doesn't beat GSP and wins the Welterweight title to. Obviously, a lot is riding on that UFC 94 bout.
