UFC lightweight contender Tyson Griffin â€" having already been involved in two Fight of the Year candidates with Frankie Edgar and Clay Guida â€" confirmed Saturday he would be fighting undefeated Brazilian Thiago Tavares at UFC 76 Sept. 22 in Anaheim, Calif.
