During an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, UFC President Dana White made the announcement the they have sold well over 15,000 tickets for the October 25th debut in "The Windy City" and that they will most likely sell out the 19,000 seat Allstate Area.

White is so confident they will sell out he thinks they will be the biggest sporting event the fans of Chicago have ever seen. Bold statement considering it is the home to the Cubs, White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks.

”This is a bold statement in a town with the White Sox and Cubs and the Bears, but I guarantee you this will be the most exciting live sporting event you have ever seen. I can’t explain it to you. You have to experience it. Chicago is the biggest pay-per-view market for us, and ratings for Spike TV’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ reality show are huge in Chicago. We’re going to beat WrestleMania as the highest-grossing event ever at Rosemont.”
