Urijah Faber Vs. Brian Bowles At UFC 139, Winner Gets Title Shot

A bantamweight title elimination fight is on taps for UFC 139 as Urijah Faber and Brian Bowles will meet inside the Octagon in San Jose, CA on November 19th.

UFC President Dana White confirmed the match up with ESPN over the weekend, telling the website “Both Urijah and Bowles lost to Cruz. The winner of their fight will earn a rematch.”

A rematch for either will hinge on whether Dominick Cruz can hang onto the title when he face Demitrious Johnson at UFC on Versus 6 in October. If Cruz does lose the title, the winner of the Faber/Bowles fight will still be awarded a shot at the title.
