Video: Conor McGregor Unloads On Urijah Faber During TUF 22 Promotional Interview

While many UFC fans have grown tired of the stale format of The Ultimate Fighter reality show, which enters its’ 22nd season in the United States on September 9th on FOX Sports 1, if the recent promotional face-to-face interview between TUF 22 coaches Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber is any indication, this season will certainly have its’ fill of entertaining and compelling moments.

McGregor and Faber recently sat down with Brian Stann and Kenny Florian to promote the season premiere of TUF 22 on FOX Sports 1, and on this week’s edition of UFC Tonight, extended footage of the McGregor-Faber interview was shown.

The extended version of the interview, which you can watch above, features nearly 15-minutes of non-stop entertainment, as opposing TUF 22 coaches Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber consistently rib each other, as McGregor takes shots at Faber for knocking out Chad Mendes, his teammate at Team Alpha Male, back in July.

While Faber certainly holds his own in the verbal exchanges, this appears to be just another stop in the ongoing “Conor McGregor Show,” as “The California Kid” was reduced to smirking and sitting back as “The Notorious” one unloaded on Faber with a partially-friendly, partially-vicious verbal attack.

If you haven’t seen the UFC: “Go Big” launch event yet and you thought the above McGregor-Faber interview was brutal, well, let’s just say you haven’t seen anything yet.

The Ultimate Fighter 22: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber premieres on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 on FOX Sports 1.
