Video: Former UFC Fighter Josh Neer Posts Clip Of Brutal Challenge Match In His Gym

Former UFC contender Josh Neer has been the subject of a lot of controversy online, as a clip of a challenge match at his gym surfaced this week which catches Neer going too far with his attack.

Neer posted the clip, which you can watch above, which features him soundly knocking out a man who continually challenged him to a fight on social media, and hitting him with a brutal, unnecessary soccer kick after the fact.

Since the clip gained so much attention, Neer decided to tell his side of the story.

In speaking with the folks at BloodyElbow.com, “The Dentist” shed additional light on the story via the following official statement.

Basically the guys a dumbass and been talking shit about MMA fighters for a month. On and on, I usually ignore him but this Saturday he wrote me on Facebook the message i gave. He had written 10 messages to me talking shit which I ignored, but this time I said if you really want to fight come to the gym Monday at 5:30.

I don’t know what his problem is but he’s a big guy, like 6-6 and 270 pounds and just acts like a bully. That what he seems like to me, just a bully.

He showed up at 6:10, 40 mins into my practice. And then I asked him if he wanted to fight Rakim or me and Rakim is bigger then me so of course he chose me.”

Below are some of the back-and-forth text messages and social media messages between Neer and the man in the above video.
