On Saturday night, a legend was defeated and decided to surprise the MMA community by announcing her MMA retirement live inside the Octagon during her post-fight interview with longtime UFC commentator and post-fight interviewer Joe Rogan.

Women’s MMA legend Miesha “Cupcake” Tate lost via unanimous decision to a fellow Women’s MMA veteran, Raquel “Rocky” Pennington, with the judges showing scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 after three rounds.
