According to the latest “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan announced that he might be leaving the Ultimate Fighting Championship in August once his contract expires.
Rogan, who noted that he has a tendancy to get tired of doing the same thing over and over, revealed that he might be making a big change in 2016.
“My contract’s up in August. I might leave in August. It’s possible. I like doing shit that scares me. I like taking chances, and I like walking away from things. I’m not a big fan of doing the same shit over and over again. I love it, it’s not that I don’t love it. I just like doing a lot of other shit, too.”
Rogan originally started with the UFC back in 1997 as a backstage interviewer at the UFC 12: Judgement Day event in Dothan, Alabama.
After gaining more fame through the show Fear Factor, Rogan returned as a more well-known celebrity joining Mike Goldberg as one of the two main announcers for the actual live action in the Octagon.
