Vitor Belfort: It May Be Hard To Believe I Can Get Better, But I Will

Middleweight contender is looking to get back into title contention and since a loss to Jon Jones at UFC 152, he has strung together three solid performances in the Octagon, defeating Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold, and most recently, .

When he returns to action in his next bout, the former UFC Champion tells he will be even better:

“I’ll be even better when I return to the Octagon. I know it’s hard to believe that I can get even better than this, but I will. I’ve been training hard, and there are a lot of things that I haven’t done yet. My best is yet to come.”

Belfort also talked about a possible rematch with , who knocked him at at UFC 126:

“It’s important that you accept the facts,” he said. “He surprised me with a kick, and a true champion needs to accept what happened. We can’t control the results, but I can control what I will do about it. The last fight doesn’t mean that the next fight will end the same way.”

  • Simon Gilchrist

    He’s surely on the juice

  • Chris Steward

Why does he only want to fight in Brazil. Come to the States and fight, but you’ll have to test first.

  • Nick Bean

Pretty sure I read somewhere that his post fight testing showed he didn’t dope against Hendo.

  • Rocky Balderston

It’s not hard to believe; they’re making better steroids all the time.

  • Dwayne McAlister

I see nothing wrong with him taking TRT. it’s NOT illegal. When it becomes Illegal…Then people have a legit bitch in the matter.

  • Assbestos

TRT use is NOT STEROIDS. It is replacement therapy. As adminsitered by a doctor, it should give you levels of the hormone relative to a normal person.

How he got to a point of neednig it…that is a better question.
