WEC 50 Fight Of The Night & KO/Submission Bonuses Revealed

After an amazing event full of thrilling battles, four combatants walked away with some bonus change in their pockets.

Anthony Pettis pocketed a $10,000 “submission of the night” bonus for his third round triangle choke over powerhouse wrestler Shane Roller. Pettis elicited the tap with less than 10 seconds remaining in the fight (which he was likely ahead on the scorecards regardless).

Scott Jorgensen and Brad Pickett each took home an extra $10,000 for “fight of the night” honors following their grueling and insanely entertaining (fight of the year candidate?) three round slugfest.

In a shocking undercard moment Maciej Jewtuszko earned himself an extra $10k for “knockout of the night” when he starched dangerous striker Anthony Njokuani in the first round. The bout marked Jewtuszko
