Three-part online reality series gives MMA fans a no-holds barred look at UFC fighter Stephan Bonnar as he prepares for UFC 77

LAS VEGAS – (, the popular Internet-only TV channel featuring a daily mix of entertaining and irreverent video programming about all things Las Vegas, today announced the premiere of “Road to 77: Stephan Bonnar,” a new online reality series that follows top UFC fighter Stephan Bonnar as he trains for his light heavyweight bout against Eric Schafer at UFC 77 in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Saturday, October 20, 2007.

The three-part series will debut a new video every Friday, beginning today and up until UFC 77, that will be available on-demand and exclusively at

“Road to 77: Stephan Bonnar” is the third installment in the hugely popular “Road to” series on that has already featured fighters Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove and Forrest Griffin in the lead up to their matches at UFC 74 and 76, respectively. Cameras followed each fighter as they prepared for one of the biggest nights of their career, giving viewers a rare look at the fighters' training regimens at Xtreme Couture and the Xyience Training Center, or in Groves' case at his house. The videos also revealed how each fighter balanced their personal lives as they trained.

With the cameras on them pretty much everywhere they went, the fighters often made surprising revelations concerning topics outside of the ring. During “Road to 74,” Grove talked about having a gun pulled on him while outside a bar in Canada on a training trip. While he gave no further details of the night in question, the segment set the MMA forums ablaze with speculation. The always entertaining and outspoken Griffin waxed philosophical during an interview for “Road to 76,” revealing his distaste for the medical insurance system of HMOs and his own political leanings.

The new series starring Bonnar promises to provide the same entertainment value for viewers. The controversial 6'4″ fighter first made his mark on the hit reality TV show “The Ultimate Fighter” on Spike TV, where he narrowly lost to Griffin in what has has been labeled one of the greatest fights in UFC history. In a rematch at UFC 62, Bonnar was once again defeated by Griffin, and to make matters worse, he was hit with a nine-month suspension for testing positive for steroids. After serving his suspension, Bonnar made his comeback this summer at UFC 71 where he quickly defeated Mike Nickel. Bonnar then relocated to Las Vegas to improve upon his training and now will be looking to improve upon his 10-4-0 record at UFC 77 against Schafer.
