A UFC Fight Night 18 bout between Tyson Griffin (12-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) and Rafael dos Anjos (11-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) originally scheduled for the night's preliminary card will instead likely be promoted to the night's televised main card.
A source close to the bout today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) the fight will likely air on the Spike TV portion of the card.
Although not definite, a bout between Jeremy Stephens and Gleison Tibau, who was a late replacement for “The Ultimate Fighter 8” winner Efrain Escudero, could be demoted to the preliminary card.
UFC Fight Night 18 takes place April 1 at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn. It serves as a lead-in for the upcoming ninth season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” which features a U.S. vs. U.K. theme.
