Results For World Championship Fighting 6

In front of a packed house of 4000 people at World Championship Fighting 6, Dan Ferrer won the first ever WCF Title fight, defeating Dan Bonnell by first round submission. Bonnell had won 5 fights in a row, all with WCF, but Ferrer put a stop to that at 2:48 of round one with a kimura. However, Bonnell may have been the real winner in this one though, as he proposed to his girlfriend in the ring after the fight. She said yes.

In another featured bout, veteran of Spike TV's “The Ultimate Fighter” Reality Show Mike Dolce got back to his winning ways by stopping hard nosed veteran Nuri Shakir by second round TKO. Since his stint on Spike TV, Dolce has been training with Michael Bisping and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who was in attendance to corner Mike. Jackson joined a star studded group of fighters in attendance including UFC's Kenny Florian, Jon Jones, Marcus Davis, Jorge Rivera and John Howard. WEC stars John Franchi and Mike Campbell as well as Affliction's Dan Lauzon were also in attendance, along with boxing legend Irish Mickey Ward.

Other featured fights included a rematch between Greg Rebello and Shawn DePaul. Their first fight was a late TKO win for Rebello, and their rematch didn't disappoint. Both fighters fought hard from bell to bell, and both had their shining moments in the fight, but ultimately the decision went to Rebello, and he improves to 7-2.

Glenn Brown out worked John Benoit in their fight earning a unanimous decision, and putting an end to Benoit's undefeated 7-0 record.
