Although there was a slight chance that Ken Shamrock may still be able to fight Bobby Lashley on March 21st in Pensacola FL on Roy Jones Jr's MMA/Boxing hybrid card, sources close to both Shamrock and Lashley have confirmed to MMANews.com that Ken will not be fighting.
Shamrock tested positive for Norandrosterone, Noretiocholanolone, and Stanozolol following his February 13th fight against Ross Clifton. The CSAC has suspended Shamrock for one year and fined him $2500.
Lashley is not off the card yet as his management team is looking to secure an opponent for the MMA newcomer. It would be only his second bout and first since his debut in December. He won the fight via a TKO in the first round. We hope to have more information over the next couple of days on whether or not Lashley will still compete on the March 21st card.
