*GSP vs. Silva?*
This is one of those fight's that can only become a reality in MMA. Because of this fact, much talk has started circulating about what would be the biggest fight of all time easily. GSP vs. Anderson Silva.
As mentioned, a fight of this magnitude with both fighters in their prime, would never happen in boxing.
Hate him or love him, Dana White will put this fight on. He won't be able to resist. How could he?
How could you if you were in his shoes? You couldn't. Neither could I. When the fans want to see the fight in question, isn't that enough to warrant putting it on?
No padded records to protect here. No worthless promoters. No paper champions.
No Mayweather Jr.'s.
Especially after seeing what has become of the Mayweather vs. Pacman debacle that is now bordering on being a full fledged “disgrace” on what used to be the sweet science.
The world's most famous interpreter, and resident Silva frontmant, Ed Soares on what weight this might happen at.
“First of all, I think to protect both champions, I think it's smarter to do it at a catchweight possibly, but who knows? Anderson… I don't think he could. Maybe he could, I'm not sure, make it down to 170. I think it's much easier and more likely that Georges goes up to 185,” Soares recently commented.
