Jorge Rivera Pulls Out Of Alessio Sakara Fight At UFC 118 On August 28

MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer

UFC middleweight fighter Jorge Rivera was forced to pull out of his scheduled fight with Alessio Sakara, reports The former Ultimate Fighter veteran announced the news on his official Facebook page, crediting a broken arm as his reason.

As of this article, UFC has yet to officially confirm the news, although it's pretty clear that Rivera himself would be a solid source for whether or not he's got a broken arm.

This leaves Sakara without an opponent for UFC 118, scheduled for August 28 in the UFC's debut event in Boston. UFC will have little time, but enough time if they want to kepe Sakara on the card, to find a suitable replacement in time for the big Boston-based show.
