EA Sports MMA comes out swinging with a precise, extreme and broad mixed-martial arts experience.

EA Sports MMA is a fast-paced career progression game. With its' deeply perceptive animations, instinctual controls, and incredibly dynamic online features, EA Sports MMA is guaranteed to become a gamer's favorite. The fact that it feels more like the sport is the knock-out for this refreshing take on MMA.

Gameplay: Players have constant control and a wide range of options with total strike control. The game easily allows you to throw an array of punches, kicks, and special moves while still allowing all the control and flexibility required for the ground game. With ground game, takedowns, intelligent fighters, submission battles, this game is the most realistic mixed martial arts expierence around since UFC Undisputed. The unique health for different parts of your player's body is more genuine to actual fighting as well.

Career Mode: With choosing your fight league, last fight, next fight, preparation for fights, and career potential you quickly learn about the sport of MMA while playing. Learning basic stand up, clinch, and ground fighting, you are able to build your character as you learn along with the game. There are 6 exciting leagues, 8 different gyms in 5 different countries, and 4 different rule sets including Strikeforce, Unified, Japanese, and Vale Tudo. Your fighter will move up in progression throughout the career mode.

Graphics: One of the most exciting things about this game is the ability to see the emotion on your fighter's face throughout a bout. The body types are very authentic to the characters in the game down to scars and freckles. You actually see as your player's body reddens and then swells when struck hard enough.

Commentary: There is very detailed commentary in EA Sports MMA. With over 400+ first names to choose from, 500+ last names, and 200+ nicknames there are many choices for you to pick from when creating your character. Mauro Ranallo and Frank Shamrock will provide an overview of your fighter, their background and match-ups, and your fighter's record and training background in detail.

Overall: EA Sports MMA gets a 4 out 5 star rating as there is always room for improvement, but this is definitely a game in the running as one of the most user friendly and graphically interesting MMA games to date.
