WEC 53 Results, Final Show Goes Out With A Bang

The WEC closed out it's run in Glendale, AZ as it will now merge with the UFC and add new weight divisions to the biggest MMA promotion in the world.

The final was, as always, exciting from top to bottom and featured a fight of the year candidate main event lightweight title bout between Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis.

Shane Roller defeats Jamie Varner via submission (rear naked choke) at 3:55 of round one

Eddie Wineland defeats Ken Stone via knockout (slam) at 2:11 of round one
