UFC 127 proved to be a thrilling event that conjured plenty of ruckus at my place, but ironically, not much was answered in terms of the mystery revolving around the event. Headliners Jon Fitch and B.J. Penn fought to a draw, and clearly left question marks floating above their heads as to what kind of challenge they could potentially offer champion Georges St. Pierre, should either man get the opportunity to once again challenge the welterweight champion. In the evenings co-main event, Michael Bisping proved to be the better conditioned athlete, which afforded Jorge Rivera a frequently predicted technical knockout loss. Hell, the most surprising happening of the event as a whole, was seeing Mark Hunt actually secure a victory over a contemporary UFC heavyweight, and look hungry (pardon the pun) and impressive in doing so.
