Tito Ortiz Declines Rematch With Rashad Evans

By Chris Howie

Rumors are beginning to swirl regarding a possible replacement opponent for Rashad Evans following news that an injury has forced Phil Davis out of UFC 133 in Philadelphia.

With Lyoto Machida in the running as the most likely fill-in, Dana White dropped a tidbit of news today that Tito Ortiz had been offered the fight but declined the chance for a rematch with Evans.

Ortiz and Evans fought to a draw at UFC 73, a fight that Ortiz may have won had it not been for a point deduction due to grabbing the fence.

We'll have more on the replacement search as it develops.
