UFC 139 continues to grow as UFC officials announced the signing of a welterweight bout to the card today.
Two of the UFC's best welterweights Martin Kampmann and Rick Story, will meet each other in San Jose in November. Both fighters are coming off losses in their previous outtings.
Story had been riding a six fight win streak heading into his last bout against Nate Marquardt but a sudden change in opponent lead to Story losing to a game Charlie Brenneman via decision.
Kampmann has lost his last two fights, both by close decisions. Kampmann fought Jake Shields last fall to a decision in Shields debut and followed that up with a decision loss to Diego Sanchez in March. The fight with Sanchez was a potential fight of the year candidate and could have gone either way.
