“It's GSP's knee,” tweeted Dana White, revealing the source of the problem that resulted in the champ's withdrawl from the bout.
White claims Carlos Condit will not have a new opponent for the show, as they will sit him out to wait for St-Pierre's return, which White claimed although still somewhat unsure, GSP could be ready to go again in a “couple of months.”
As far as UFC 137 is concerned, the new main event will feature 50 percent of the original UFC 137 main event (Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz) as Diaz vs. B.J. Penn will now headline the card. White noted of that fight, “it will be 3 rounds not 5.”
