UFC will be returning to Brazil quicker than expected.
The company announced plans to return to the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro on January 14 for an event that will likely serve as the UFC 142 pay-per-view.
Multiple reports confirmed the return to Rio, in the same arena where UFC re-launched in Brazil at UFC 134 back in August of 2011 where Anderson Silva defeated Yushin Okami in his most recent middleweight title defense.
Speaking of UFC in Brazil, UFC president Dana White revealed on Thursday that the company will soon bring the first-ever international version of The Ultimate Fighter to the country in the near future.
“It's a huge market for us,” White said about UFC in Brazil. “It's incredible down there. We're going to do as many as we possibly can.”
