UFC 142: Aldo Vs. Mendes Results

UFC 142 took place in Brazil tonight and featured Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo defending his title for the third time, this time in front of his home country.

Aldo stopped Chad Mendes late in the first round, knocking him out with knees and punches.

Elsewhere on the card, Vitor Belfort took on Anthony Johnson in what was suppose to be a middleweight but due to Johnson not coming in near weight was changed. Belfort would survive Johnson's initial onslaught, submitting him with fifteen second left in the first round.
