Although it has been rumored for some time, UFC 146 officially has it's main event and the UFC Heavyweight title will be on the line.
Current Champion Junior Dos Santos will defend the throne against challenger Alistair Overeem in Las Vegas on May 26th.
Tickets for the fight are scheduled to go on sale later this month though an official date was not revealed.
Overeem, who is the former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion, secured his shot at the title with a December win over Brock Lesnar. The fight was Overeem's UFC debut.
Dos Santos is riding a nine fight win streak and hasn't lost a fight inside the UFC's cage. He won the Heavyweight Championship in November by stopping Cain Velasquez in San Jose during the UFC's first broadcast on Fox.
