Correia vs. Baszler Moved To UFC 177, Other UFC 176 Fights Resceduled

Bethe “Pitbull” Correia vs. Shayna Baszler, originally scheduled for the ‘postponed’ UFC 176 event from Los Angeles, will now take place at UFC 77 on August 30th.

Correia (8-0) has two UFC wins under her belt, most recently at UFC 172, when she defeated Jessamyn Duke back in April. Baszler, a member of Ronda Rousey’s “Four Horsewomen” fight team and a contestant on TUF 18, will make her UFC debut at 177.

Correia has stated she plans to defeat each of member of Rousey’s team and she’ll get her chance to start chipping away at that goal later this summer.

Two other fights originally scheduled for UFC 176 have also been rescheduled.

The Bobby “King” Green vs. Abel “Killa” Trujillo lightweight fight has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night from Bangor, Maine on August 16.

Also added to the 8/16 Fight Night card is is Jussier Formiga vs. Zach Makovsky in a battle of the flyweights.
