UFC Featherweight “The Notorious” Conor McGregor joined the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show on Super Bowl Radio Row for an interview Thursday afternoon. McGregor talked about the emotions of jumping out of the cage following his UFC Fight Night performance to confront champion Jose Aldo and their upcoming fight, a few comments on CM Punk, and more.
Here’s what McGregor said about former WWE Superstar CM Punk training for his first UFC fight:
“At the end of the day he’s doing it. He’s signed up and he’s gonna step in. So anyone who steps through the doors at whatever level, I have respect for, whether it’s in the UFC or a smaller organization. Who knows what his level is like. I’m sure he would not enter something unless he had some sort of skills, some sort of confidence.
Of course when you’re going in at the biggest level it’s different. Again he’s gonna bring eyes, it brings business, if you bring business you can have a shot. So we’ll see.”
