UFC fighters Anderson Silva, Nick Diaz and Hector Lombard were all handed down temporary suspensions by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) during a commission meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday.
Silva and Diaz both failed drug tests for their recent bout at UFC 183, while Lombard popped hot for his UFC 182 win over Josh Burkman.
Silva, Diaz, and Lombard are all expected to receive full disciplinary hearings at an upcoming NAC meeting, which is expected to take place in March. The three face the possibility of suspensions and hefty fines, in addition to their fights being overturned to “no contests.”
UFC is scheduled to address the PED issue during a news press conference event on Wednesday. You can watch the presser right here at MMANews.com by clicking here.
