Dana White Reacts To Fans Complaining About UFC Fight Night 76 Lineup

Although UFC Fight Night 76 has now lost its’ main event and co-main event for the UFC’s return to Dublin, Ireland at the 3Arena this Saturday, UFC President Dana White isn’t apologizing to fans who feel slighted by the weak final lineup.

Originally scheduled to feature Irish prospect Joseph Duffy, the last man to defeat Ireland’s favorite son — Conor McGregor — taking on th highly regarded Dustin Poirier, UFN 76 was also set to include Stipe Miocic vs. Ben Rothwell in heavyweight action.

With Duffy injured, the Duffy-Poirier fight was completely scrapped, as Poirier turned down late replacement opponents. In the case of Miocic-Rothwell, Rothwell went down with injury, and Miocic was re-booked to fight Andrei Arlovski at UFC 195.

Now, Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 76 event will be headlined by Paddy Holohan vs. Louis Smolka. Not exactly the biggest marquee matchup in UFC main event history, but it will have to do for fans who aren’t interested in returning their tickets for a refund, at least in UFC President Dana White’s eyes.

A fan contacted White via social media and wrote about the UFC not caring about the Irish fans because of the fact that they already booked Miocic for UFC 195 instead of giving him a new opponent at UFC Fight Night 76.

White, never shy to respond to complaints, replied to the fan and said, “Return your ticket and get your money back. Nobody [is] ripping you off, dummy.”

Supporting the Holohan-Smolka main event on the UFN 76 main card this Saturday, which airs live on UFC Fight Pass, is Reza Madadi vs. Norman Parke, Nicolas Dalby vs. Darren Till and Neil Seery vs. Jon Delos Reyes.
