UFC 195, the first pay-per-view of 2016, now his a co-main event under the Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit headliner for the UFC Welterweight Championship. As initially reported by Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times and confirmed by MMAJunkie, top heavyweights will do battle as Andrei Arlovski takes on Stipe Miocic. The timing suggests that the winner could face the winner of the Fabricio Werdum vs. Cain Velasquez fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, which is also slated for the winter.

Miocic had been scheduled to fight Ben Rothwell this coming Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Duffy in Dublin, Ireland, but pulled put due to a “minor injury.” Rothwell finds himself on the outside looking in, as he goes from a chance to break out of the pack to not having a fight. Miocic, on the other hand, is in what looks like it could be a title eliminator since he and Arlovski would be the freshest challengers of those ranked at the top of the division.

Tickets for UFC 195 go on sale tomorrow (Thursday 10/22) at 1:00 p.m. ET as part of a pre-sale using the code NEWYEAR with the general onside being the same time Friday (10/23).
