Cris “Cyborg” Justino’s manager was pushing for a fight between his client with Ronda Rousey for a while now, and he isn’t changing his tune after Rousey’s loss at UFC 193. Rousey lost to Holly Holm on Saturday by second round knockout. Cyborg’s manager, George Prajin, says this is the perfect time for Cyborg vs. Rousey.
“No doubt who is the baddest on the planet,” George Prajin wrote to MMAjunkie in a text message. “There is no belt on the line – let’s do 140. She has nothing to hide behind now.”
Justino is currently cutting weight in hopes of a fight with Rousey in 2016 as a bantamweight. Dana White has indicated he’s working on a Rousey vs. Holm rematch as soon as possible, and Rousey has indicated she’ll be taking time off from MMA after Saturday’s event, so it may still be some time before Justino gets her fight.
