Francisco Rivera vs. Brad Pickett

Round 1: Both men have made their walk to the cage. Our first main card bout of the evening is now underway. The London fans are strongly behind England’s “One Punch” Pickett in this one. Pickett catches a Rivera kick and wings a wild punch that is blocked. Rivera hurls an awkward shot back at Pickett. Both guys chop with leg kicks. Pickett lands a nice body shot. Rivera lands a nice right and drops him to his butt with another punch seconds later. 90 seconds remains. Pickett landing some leg kicks on Rivera as Rivera lands a nice right hand that stuns Pickett. Pickett fires back in response but doesn’t land anything significant. Rivera tags Pickett with another shot and drops him with a follow up. Pickett out of nowhere drops Rivera with a wild shot. Both guys touch gloves as the crowd goes wild. The round ends. scores the round 10-9 for Francisco Rivera.

Round 2: Both guys come out swinging wildly again in the second. Rivera gets the better of the initial exchange. Pickett lands a right hand. Rivera tags Pickett with a couple of follow-ups. Pickett scores a takedown on Rivera. Pickett working from inside Rivera’s half-guard. Rivera scrambles back to his feet. Rivera partially lands a Silva-Belfort like front kick to the face of Pickett. Rivera changes levels and takes Pickett down with 30 seconds left in the round. Pickett works his way back to his feet. Rivera takes a low blow from Pickett and it clearly hurts him. Rivera is down on his knees as a replay shows a hard left hook from Pickett lands low. The action resumes and the ten second ticker hits. Both guys wildly exchange punches and kicks to end the round with a boom. scores the round 10-9 for Francisco Rivera.

Round 3: Pickett looks to take the fight to the floor here in the third, but Rivera defends his early takedown attempts. Rivera slaps a guillotine choke on Pickett. Pickett takes the fight to tthe mat and switches to side control while still stuck in Rivera’s guillotine attempt. The referee eventually stops the action and restarts the fighters standing. The two are fighting at a much slower pace now. Rivera takes Pickett down. Pickett gets back to his feet. Rivera lands a nice clean right hand. Pickett dives in for a desperation takedown and scoops Rivera and takes him for a ride. Pickett working from side control on top here as the third round nears a close. The round ends with Pickett on top. This fight could be scores a million different ways. We’ll see how the three people who matter scored it in just a second. scores the round 10-9 for Francisco Rivera.

Tom Breese vs. Keita Nakamura

Round 1: Both guys have made their ring walks. Fight two on the main card is officially underway. Borh guys come out tentative. Nakamura bodylocks Breese and takes him down. Nakamura works out of Breeze’s half guard and advances to mount. Breese drops back for a leg lock on Nakamura and doesn’t get it, but gets back to his feet. Breese lands a decent right hand. Nakamura clinches with him. Two minutes left in the round. Breese with a strong front kick attempt. Breese with a stiff jab. Breese with a solid leg kick. One minute remaining here in the first. Nakamura catches Breese coming in with a punch but Breese responds back. Breese with an elbow on the break after a clinch. The buzzer sounds to end the first round. scores the round 10-9 for Tom Breese.

Round 2: Nakamura gets Breese to the mat and quickly advances to mount. Breese drops back again for a leglock attempt but Nakamura avoids any damage. Breese gets top position. Breese working from top position inside Nakamura’s half guard. Breese controls from the top for a while but doesn’t inflict much damage. Breese picks up the pace annd output a bit as he switches to elbows from the top. One minute left in the round. Omaplata attempt from Nakamura looks to be trouble for Breese. Nakamura ends the round on side control on top. scores the round 10-9 for Keita Nakamura.

Round 3: You could score round two for either with Nakamura getting him down early, threatening with the omaplata and finishing on top. The third and final round of our second main card bout opens up with Breese looking more determined coming out. Breese paws with the jab and follows up with a stiff right hand. Breese mixes in a knee and some kicks and is now picking Nakamura apart on the feet. Nakamura dives in for a takedown attempt but Breese defends. Nakamura stays on Breese’s hips against the cage. Three minutes remain. Nakamura gets an upper body lock and takes Breese down. Breese looks for a leglock again, this time a heel hook. Nakamura avoids damage and sweeps Breese to remain in top position. Two minutes remain. The final two minutes tick away with Breese sorta on top with a body triangle on Nakamura. Tough round to score. scores the round 10-9 for Tom Breese.

Gegard Mousasi vs. Thales Leites

Round 1: Our co-main event of the evening is now underway. Leites comes out and immediately looks for a takedown. Leites has Mousasi’s back against the cage now as he continued to look to take him down. Mousasi doing a good job thus far of staying on his feet. Finally Leites pulls Mousasi down on top of him. Mousasi pops back up. Leites stays on him against the cage. Mousasi circles away finally. Mousasi lands a nice jab and a thumping leg kick. Mousasi jabs away at Leites. Leites lands a nice leg kick of his own. Mousasi gets busy with the jab again so Leites starts looking for the takedown again. Mousasi defending now as Leites has the fight back in the clinch against the fence. He pulls Mousasi down on top of him again but again Mousasi stands up and backs out. Mousasi jabs and leg kicks again. 30 seconds left in the round. scores the round 10-9 for Gegard Mousasi.

Round 2: Mousasi catches Leites with a nice punch as he attempted to dive in on him. Mousasi is landing sharp low kicks and following up with good punches. Mousasi lands a three-piece combo answered by a left hook from Leites. Mousasi puts some one-two’s together to back Leites up and score some points in the process. Mousasi lands a nice lead left hook. Mousasi is connecting almost at will here in the second half of the round. Mousasi stuffs a Leites takedown attempt and goes back to work with the jab. Leites shooting in for desparation takedown attempts now as Mousasi dominates the action standing. Mousasi chops away at the legs of Leites as he lays on his back until the round ends. scores the round 10-9 for Gegard Mousasi.

Round 3: Leites’ face showing the wear of the fight as his corner acknowledges he needs something big this round. Mousasi and Leites hit the floor early with Mousasi backing out and returning to his feet. Leites gets Mousasi’s attention with two big shots. Mousasi fires back and lands some clean shots of his own. Leites dives in but Mousasi stuffs the takedown attempt. Mousasi works from inside Leites’ half guard on top on the ground. The round ends with Leites looking to tie up Mousasi’s arm from the bottom. You could give Leites this round. scores the round 10-9 for Gegard Mousasi.

Anderson Silva vs. Michael Bisping

Round 1: The video package has just finished airing. Michael “The Count” Bisping makes his walk to the Octagon. “Ain’t No Sunshine” plays as the legendary Anderson “The Spider” Silva makes his walk to the Octagon. Our final pre-fight introductions are complete and our main event is now officially underway. Herb Dean is our referee. Bisping misses with a big head kick attempt early on. Silva dancing around on the outside so far. Bisping trying to work his way inside. Bisping lands a right hand. Silva with a push kick. Bisping misses with another head kick attempt. An aggressive Silva closes in on Bisping and lands some punches and kicks. Bisping lands a shot of his own. Bisping lands a nice right hand and Silva reacts and clowns a bit. Bisping misses two head kick attempts. Silva closwns a bit. Bisping rocks Silva with a shot while he was clowning. The buzzer sounds. scores the round 10-9 for Michael Bisping.

Round 2: Bisping lands some shots early on in the second so Silva stands with his back against the cage and waives Bisping in. Bisping backs up and stands with his hands on his hips, forcing Silva to engage. Bisping gets back after it as Silva circles and backs up. Silva is clowning big time again as he starts to land some shots. Bisping stays determined but Silva is equally determined to clown around. Bisping drops Silva with a clean shot and follows in on top on the ground with some punches and elbows as the round ends. scores the round 10-9 for Michael Bisping.

Round 3: Silva catches Bisping with a nice body kick early on here in the third round. Bisping stays determined and focused to move forward and land whatever shots he can. Silva with a head kick that partially lands on Bisping. Silva clowns a bit more and Bisping again lands a couple decent shots. Silva lands a nice knee. Silva pushing forward a lot more this round. Silva hurts Bisping with a big shot. Bisping complains about his mouth guard and Silva blasts him with a flying knee. The referee is saying “fights not over” as Silva celebrates. Silva is refusing to get off the top of the cage where he is still trying to celebrate. Bisping is trying to recover in his corner as the referee finally restores order. scores the round 10-9 for Anderson Silva.

Round 4: Silva is dancing around to start off the fourth round. Bisping throws up a head kick that Silva partially blocks. Bisping eats a low blow and Herb Dean pauses the action. Bisping gets Silva back-first against the cage and lands some shots. Silva seeems content to stay there but Bisping is landing shots every now and then. Silva gets poked and the action stops. Bisping lands some more shots while Silva’s back is against the cage. Silva charges forward and lands a few shots of his own. Silva catches Bisping coming in with some vicious elbows over and over. Silva stalks Bisping as the round ends. scores the round 10-9 for Anderson Silva.

Round 5: A bloody Bisping stands up for the fifth and final round after we see replays of Silva celebrating his “victory” earlier. Slva with a high kick attempt only partially blocked by Bisping. And again. Bisping lands a jab that snaps Silva’s head back. The ref haults the action to have the doctor check out Bisping’s cuts. Bisping is asked if he wants to continue, of course he says yes. The fight resumes. The crowd is amped up now with only 3 minutes left in the fight. Silva blasts Bisping with a front kick that badly hurts Bisping. Silva lands two vicious knees as follow ups but Bisping refuses to go down. Silva blasts Bisping with another high kick. Bisping is on wobbly legs but will not go down. Bisping goes for a takedown but Silva defends. Silva pot-shots Bisping with a jab. Less than one minute remains. Bisping charges in on Silva and lands some shots while his back is against the cage. Silva doesn’t stay there this time and he starts landing some creative leg kicks on Bisping. The ten second ticker hits and Silva dances and backs up to end the fight. scores the round 10-9 for Anderson Silva.
