Justin Scoggins was a late-scratch from this Satuday’s UFC Fight Night 85 card, as he was scheduled to meet Ben Nguyen from Australia.
However, an injury suffered recently will force Scoggins to the sidelines, delaying the 23-year-old in his hopes of winning a third straight. Overall, Scoggins is 11-2 in his career and 4-2 inside the Octagon.
This past February, Scoggins claimed a decision over Ray Borg, adding to the 2015 win he earned vs. Josh Sampo. Both of his losses came in 2014 to John Moraga via submission and Dustin Ortiz via split decision after opening his career 9-0.
