Dada 5000 (Dhafir Harris) took to social media on Wednesday to make his first public comments since the near-fatal fight he had with Kimbo Slice (Kevin Ferguson) at Bellator 149 in February.
Dada was hospitalized immediately after his February 19th fight against Kimbo, which took place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. He reportedly suffered cardiac arrest as well as a broken orbital bone (eye socket) in his fight with Kimbo, which he lost via third round TKO.
Additionally, Dada dealt with “severe dehydration, fatigue and renal failure,” and according to the street brawler himself, he actually “died” as a result of the punishment he took on 2/19.
